This request was
improperly submitted because the agency failed to include in its
submission the relevant statute and regulation mandating and
authorizing the collection of information, as it was instructed to
do in Question A.1 of the Supporting Statement. Compliance with
this requirement is particularly important in cases where the
collection is contained in regulation and there is not an agency
form. This action will result in the expiration of OMB's approval
of this collection. The agency may resubmit a complete package
requesting a 3-year reinstatement of OMB's approval, and is not
required to publish notices in the Federal Register before doing
so.
