The United States Patent and Trademark
Office (USPTO) is requesting a generic clearance to cover an
undefined number of surveys that the USPTO may conduct over the
next three years. From previous experience, the USPTO believes that
it will conduct telephone, mail, and customer surveys,
questionnaries, face-to- face interviews, comment cards, and focus
groups over the next three years. Responses to the mail and
customer surveys and questionnaires will also be collected
electronically. The USPTO conducts these surveys to implement E.O.
12862 Setting Customer Service Standards and uses them to obtain
customer feedback .....
