Title 29 CFR Part 30 sets forth
policies and procedures to promote equality of opportunity in
apprenticeship programs registered with the U.S. Department of
Labor and recognized State Apprenticeship Agencies.
US Code:
29 USC
50 Name of Law: National Apprenticeship Act of 1937
At the end of FY 2005, of the
approximately 1,600 new programs (23 States of the Office of
Apprenticeship programs), there were approximately 70 new
registered programs with 5 or more apprentices and approximately
1,540 with 4 or fewer apprentices. Thus the numbers reflected in
the burden summary are due to an adjustment in the agency
estimate.
