This information collection
requirement pertains tovarious information in support of the DoD
acquisition process: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
Supplement (DFARS) Parts 208, Required Sources of Supplies and
Services; 209, Contractor Qualifications; 22, Other Socioeconomic
Programs; and 235, Research and Development Contracting; and
associated provisions and clauses in DFARS Part 252. This
information collection implements 10 USC 2323; 10 USC 2327, 10 USC
2354.
The estimated decrease of
329,064 burden hours consists of transfer of 1,124 associated with
DFARS 252.211-7004 and 327,940 hours related to DFARS Part 217,
partially offset by an estimated increase of 196 hours for the
information collection requirement related to clause 252.235-7003,
caused by an increase in DoD R&D contracts.
