The Office of ElectricityÂs Recovery Act Smart Grid grants are new programs, authorized by the Energy Independence and Security Act and funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which provides financial assistance to eligible entities to make improvements in the US electric grid, to create and retain jobs, and increase energy efficiency.
