This collection of information is for CBPÂs Trusted Traveler Programs including the Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI), which allows expedited entry at specified southwest land border ports of entry, and the Free and Secure Trade program (FAST), which provides expedited border processing for known, low-risk commercial drivers. The purpose of all of these programs is to provide prescreened travelers expedited entry into the United States. CBP requests that the name of this OMB Clearance be changed to "Trusted Traveler Programs".
The burden hours were decreased based on the number of participants in the Trusted Traveler Programs in 2009. They were also increased as a result of two pilot programs that CBP is proposing as described in this ICR.
