The program adjustment from 32,040 to 22,500 estimated annual burden hours is due to FMCSA's revised estimate of the number of accident entries that must be recorded in the Accident Register of a motor carriers pursuant to 49 CFR 390.15 each year. The reduction for the estimate resulted from FMCSA's ability to obtain more accurate data on the number of such motor carrier accidents.
