Title 29 CFR Part 30 sets forth policies and procedures to promote equality of opportunity in apprenticeship programs registered with the U.S. Department of Labor and recognized State Apprenticeship Agencies. This collection also includes the Form ETA 9039 is filled out by the complainant to initiate the complaint procedure.

The burden is slightly reduced from the previously approved burden because 1) the number of respondents diminished slightly; 2) two State Apprenticeship Agencies, New Hampshire and California, are now Office of Apprenticeship Federal state agencies, bringing the State Agencies from 30 to 28; and 3) the total number of active apprenticeship programs, over all, decreased slightly. Further, the number of reposes is also reduced due to correcting some double counting of responses in the previous submission.
