The American Community Survey (ACS)
collects accurate and timely socioeconomic and housing information
historically collected during the decennial census. The Census
Bureau began full implementation of the ACS in United States (US)
households in January 2005. Implementation of ACS data collection
in Puerto Rico (PR) households and in US and PR group quarters
started in January 2006.
. The burden is increasing by
77,090 hours from the 2005-2007 submission due to more precision in
the group quarters data collection and reinterview burden
estimate.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
