This information collection is currently approved with 16,245,251 responses and 939,501 burden hours. With the addition of requirements and burdens that were not previously accounted for in the collection, FNS estimates that 2,130 hours and 18,358 responses will be added to the collection as a program change. Due to decreases in the number of participating LEAs and schools, a decrease in the number of households completing applications, and changes to the number of LEAs participating in CEP, FNS estimates that the burden hours will decrease by 276,905 and the responses by 3,713,414 due to adjustments. The overall reduction in burden is 274,775 hours and 3,695,056 responses. Therefore, FNS estimates that this revision will have 12,550,195 responses and 664,726 burden hours.
